This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kindergarten is such a crucial year for reading success!

I would like to use the reading materials in my grant to be able to close the reading gap for our Kindergarten students.

Students learn best through hand on activities and these materials will help me bring the love of reading to their fingertips. Bringing in additional resources to make reading fun will also allow my students to explore through learning whole group and independently creating amazing readers ready for first grade. Reading is my passion and I can't want to bring this all to our classroom!
