My Project

I'm the librarian at a public high school with 1500 students. They come from diverse backgrounds and have a wide array of abilities and skills, which they develop in a variety of academic and career tracks. My school offers students many opportunities to shine, whether through sports, arts, academic pursuits, or vocational training, and they do.

My students are also interested in and aware of the natural world; they're eager to learn more about it, and they're very concerned about climate change.

A collection of fiction and non-fiction books about climate and the environment will help my students learn more about the urgent climate crisis, and it will help them better understand the scale of the problem and what must be done about it.
