My Project

Help me get my students reader's theater materials to help them build their reading fluency. Reader's theater provides an authentic opportunity for students to practice their reading fluency skills. My students love telling stories and playing pretend. Introducing reader's theater to my literacy block will allow students to build their fluency skills. Students will read the scripts aloud and work on their reading expression and phrasing as they say each line. They will also get to tell the stories to one another and experience performance art! Help me bring this exciting experience to my classroom literacy block!
