This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello everyone, this year will be my first year ever as a teacher. I am so excited to be teaching 3rd grade Math and Science this upcoming fall. As a first-year teacher, I do not have many books in my classroom library just yet. So I need your help, to make this wish come true for both my students and me.

In this list, there is a variety of books, ranging from books that are great for representation in the classroom and for social-emotional learning as well.

Even though I will only be teaching Math and Science, I will still be teaching social-emotional lessons here and there and it is equally important to me as well. The other books are science and math-related and those would just go perfectly with the different standards and topics that I will touch on this year.

Any contribution to this project would mean the world to my future 3rd-grade stars! Thank you for your time.
