Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Waverider Learning Cove will transform our kindergarten classroom into an ocean-inspired learning environment where students can dive into literacy, mathematics, science, dramatic play, and hands-on exploration. Through flexible learning spaces and purposeful play experiences, students will build foundational academic skills while developing creativity, communication, problem-solving, and independence.

We are creating an ocean-inspired kindergarten learning environment that combines literacy, mathematics, purposeful dramatic play, flexible learning spaces, and hands-on exploration while maximizing existing classroom resources.

The Waverider Kindergarten Learning Cove will provide students with flexible learning spaces, and hands-on exploration. Students will engage in meaningful learning experiences designed to foster curiosity, independence, creativity, and academic growth while meeting all North Carolina Kindergarten standards.
