Imagine 24 students in a classroom with one teacher trying to meet with a small group. My students can use the file folder games to work on Language Arts topics while I am meeting with a small group.
My students are third graders that attend a high poverty school.
They love to read and learn. They work hard everyday to do their best. Most of my students have hardships in their life, and school is a reassuring place. This is my first year teaching third grade and I couldn't have asked for a better group of students.
My Project
The file folder games that I have requested will change the dynamic of the classroom for the better. The students will be using the file folders to enrich their learning and practice crucial skills while I am able to meet with small reading groups. The students will be highly engaged with the folder games. The spelling cards will help them improve their spelling and reading. The test prep cards will work on Language Arts topics and standardized testing. The magnetic letters will be great for spelling and manipulating words. The whisper phones will help the students with their fluency and listening to themselves read.
This project is so important because I am new to third grade and don't have an abundance of resources.
This will help stock my Language Arts materials as well as help my students with crucial learning objectives.
