My Project

Reading is a fundamental skill that students need to build a love for. A great deal of students in low-income households do not have the opportunity to have an at home library and are limited on available resources. With this project, I hope to spread the cheer of reading.

Reading opens a whole new world of imagination and information.

Whether you are reading for fun or to learn something, a world without reading will be challenging. I was fortunate to receive a DonorsChoose grant earlier this year for a craft and retell to go along with all of these books. I have a small amount of the books on the list but in order to successfully utilize my craft and retell I need your help in acquiring all of the books that will carry us through the year.
