Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are eager to learn! They come to school each day with smiles on their faces, regardless of their home environment. Most of my students are English Language Learners. I also teach in a high poverty school, both of these present challenges in the classroom.
My students work extremely hard each and every day!
This is my third year in third grade and I am slowly building activities and games that make learning fun! Thank you so much for thinking of my students!
My Project
These readings and vocabulary games will be loved in my classroom! A great way to build their reading skills and practice what they have been taught is through games!
Secretly, they learn through play!
Since I have a high population of students who have a different first language, these skills are lacking in my class. However, by sneaking in games, including our favorites like Bingo, they will be learning with smiles on their faces!
Learning doesn’t have to be boring or sitting at desks all day, getting my students to play with their peers, fosters relationships and learning! This is such a Win-Win!
