My Project

In first grade students spend a lot of time building their foundational skills in reading and writing. These learners are busy working with letter sounds, full words, and creating complete sentences.

Our 1st grade team would like to give a "Home" for students to keep all of what they have learned safe and together.

With the use of their very own Primary Composition Notebook we can make this wish possible. Students will use these notebooks to sort words into the different word patterns, they'll practice using letters to create no words, and use those words to develop complete sentences.

If students ever need to look back on a word pattern or rule, all they will have to do is turn back in the notebook. We can't wait to see how much they will grow as readers and writers with the use of their very own "Learning Notebook"!
