My Project

My students are all striving to be better readers and writers. This helps to improve their literacy and their capabilities to go even further in this world! They are working towards meeting and beating goals and I want to reward them for their efforts! In a time when standardized testing is a constant, students need to be encouraged to do their very best when they don't necessarily understand the need for data or a percentage of growth. I want to give them something to strive for and work hard for! We will have hot cocoa in the mornings during our Reading and Writing Cafe' and need a kettle to heat our water, we will also be having snacks at various times. We will use baby wipes to clean our hands! All of this is to encourage literacy and make it fun and rewarding!
