This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The purpose of my class is for students to broaden their reading experiences so that they can progress to higher levels of understanding. Many students are frustrated in language arts classes because the class reading level is above theirs. I need to provide my students with books to ensure comfortable reading at their particular Guided Reading Levels.

With these new books, students will have a greater selection of enticing books to choose from.

Funding this project will be a giant step on the path of literacy that will encourage my students to read.
