Help me give my students 6 copies of the novel “Esperanza Rising,” headphones, an easel magnetic board with teaching charts, to support engaging instruction, strengthen literacy skills, and create an organized, interactive classroom environment that fosters reading success.

My Project

My students are eager to grow as confident readers, writers, and thinkers. This project will provide essential resources that support literacy growth, engagement, and academic success for every learner.

Copy paper will be used to print reading passages, worksheets, graphic organizers, and daily assignments that reinforce literacy skills.

Esperanza Rising will serve as the anchor text for a novel study, helping students develop comprehension, vocabulary, critical thinking, and discussion skills. Mobile dry-erase boards, Expo markers, and a literature magnetic anchor chart will help students visualize reading strategies and actively participate in small-group instruction. Pencils will allow students to respond to texts and complete daily literacy tasks. Earphones will support engagement with digital literacy programs and audio texts. Pocket charts and folders will keep learning materials organized during station rotations. Snacks and juice will motivate and celebrate student growth. Lysol cleaner will help maintain a clean, healthy classroom where students can focus on learning every day.
