My Project

Our students have struggled a little since returning from the pandemic, both socially and academically. We are addressing it from many different angles.

As a librarian I am pumping up our students with books galore!

We are going to have a Battle of the Books competition team that will serve 20 students. Those students will read 17 different titles and compete against other teams. They will also recommend and share those books with other students in our school.

We will also use some of these books to fill our BOOK VENDING MACHINE! Students who earn book coins from their teachers can choose any book from the machine and they get to keep it. It makes students excited about reading and encourages reading to happen outside of school also.
