As a second year teacher, this year has been full of learning for both me and my third graders. Each student is unique, loving, and expressive. This is demonstrated through their hard work. My students look forward to coming to school each day to find a safe, encouraging, and loving environment in which to experiment. Oftentimes, our classroom becomes a "second home" for many of the children.
I want to ensure that I, as their third-grade teacher, can provide every student with a variety of resources to help my students grow and develop into successful learners!
Every day we explore through a variety of activities and inspire one another to learn more and more. These third graders become highly motivated through using a variety of hands-on materials to spark their interests!
My Project
These chapter books are a great resource that helps my students become engaged and motivated in their learning. These chapter books; Flat Stanley and The Chocolate Touch, will help build positive reading habits! These items will help my students experience their first time reading their own chapter book!
Together as a class, we will explore through each page while we discuss, create, and design different activities!
This will begin our first novel study!
Throughout the school year, third graders often experience much anxiety and pressure over state testing. My goal is to allow my students the opportunity to build a love for reading that can translate to their real life.
