Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Pre-K students learn best when they can move, explore, and use their imagination. Creating an outdoor learning library will give my students a special space where they can read, play, and learn through hands-on activities while enjoying the outdoors.

This outdoor learning space will combine literacy with play-based learning.

Students will gather for storytime, explore books independently, act out stories with puppets, and participate in fun literacy games that strengthen early reading skills. By learning outside, students stay engaged while developing vocabulary, listening skills, creativity, and social interaction.

The outdoor library will include comfortable seating, engaging books, and interactive literacy materials that encourage students to learn through play. Activities like storytelling, dramatic play, and literacy games will help students build confidence while developing a love for books.

By supporting this project, you will help create a joyful outdoor learning environment where students can read, imagine, play, and grow together.
