Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These books would make a great addition to our classroom library, as my classroom library needs a little upgrade in new books. My students are captivated by new chapter books. They will look forward to picking out new books like Goosebumps and Judy Moody from our shelf and entering a new world of imagination and literacy.

I want my students to not only Read to Learn, but to Read for Fun!!

Before they know it, they will fall in love with Reading, expand their vocabulary, and strengthen their comprehension skills. I will add new and fun beads to my "Bead Bar" and they are able to choose a bead once they earn a passing grade of 80% in the Accelerated Reader Program.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
