My Students

The students in my classroom are enthusiastic learners. They have a thirst for knowledge and I want to encourage that by providing a wide selection of literature from many different genres. Expanding my classroom library would take their literary experiences to the next level and impact my students for a lifetime!

Our school is an exciting place for many diverse learners from all backgrounds.

We study everything from penguins and polar bears to the American Revolution. It is my goal to bring these subjects to life by creating experiences that allow our students to delve deeper into what they are learning. I have selected one or two novels from each continent to provide a read around the world challenge for my students in hopes they will develop a love of reading that makes them lifelong readers. As we all know, readers make great leaders.

My Project

I strive to provide a learning environment that fosters a love of reading that extends beyond the classroom. I want my students to become lifelong readers and know the true joy of good literature. Studies have shown that providing a print-rich classroom library in which student can independently choose books that suit their interests is the best way to do that! With these new novels, my students will be able to choose novels from a variety of genres and read at their own pace. By donating to our project, you are changing the world one reader at a time. Readers make great leaders!
