At this age, students need LOTS of opportunities to practice forming letters, spelling words, building sentences, and putting their thoughts into writing. These boards will allow us to practice those skills over and over without the fear of making a mistake—just erase and try again!\r\n\r\nThe lined boards will also give my students the structure they need as they work on letter formation, spacing, and writing neatly on lines. The thin dry-erase markers are perfect for their little hands and will help make the transition from pencil-and-paper work to our boards feel natural.\r\n\r\nI am especially excited to use these during our phonics and writing lessons so that every student can actively participate and show me their thinking at the same time. Instead of waiting for a turn or watching someone else practice, each child will have the opportunity to write, erase, correct, and try again.\r\n\r\nWe just received the first part of our project, and I am so excited to get these resources into my students' hands!
