My Students
My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They love challenges that allow them to think creatively. They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. When they complete their assignments, they are always looking for more things to do so they are challenged. My students are bright and eager learners. They are always asking questions that are having them dig deeper into their learning. I strive to provide depth and rigor in my instruction.
My Project
These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My students thrive on being able to increase their comprehension, while also having rich conversations with their classmates. Since we do not attend school on Friday's, I would love to start a book club with my advanced readers to push them to become better readers.
With these new books, my students will be able to increase their fluency and comprehension while having rich meaningful conversations with their peers!
The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
