Help me give my students Scholastic News Magazines! I have chosen two levels: level 1 and level 3, to reach each of my students where they are.

FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Both's classroom raised $217

My Students

I have a Diverse Learners classroom of eleven 3rd graders. They are all excited to learn and love to play games. They are all uniquely different in their own ways and they are doing a really great job getting along with one another. I have a student who loves to watch the train go by the classroom. I have a student who loves to learn sign words. I have a student who always makes us laugh. I have a student who loves to be a leader. I have a student who loves to write little thank you notes with beautiful drawings. Lastly, I have a student who is far behind but is never discouraged. They all work so hard and crave learning new things.

My Project

I have chosen two levels of text: Level 1 and Level 3. I have four students that are reading at a level A-B so the level 1 text will be a challenge, but in a small group setting with me, we will get through it and learn so much! The level 3 text is for the other five students who range from C-E, for my students ranging from C-D we will also be working in a small group setting to get the full experience from the magazine. For my student reading at a level E, she will be able to independently read the magazine as a challenge non-fiction text. Each of my students will benefit from these magazines. These magazines will help them grow in their reading, their exposure to non-fiction, as well as their involvement with the world around them as they learn the latest news.
