Having iPads in the room would help tremendously! As of now we have 4 chrome books that we share during small group. The chromebooks we have are known to log students out randomly and are not the best tool for diverse learners who would benefit from an app rather than having to type in the learning website. We use this technology for websites such as Stride Academy and RazKids, as learning platforms. We currently are using 4 chromebooks during small group rotation so that each student can access a learning platform at least twice a week. With iPads, my students would be better equipped to access the learning platforms without me typing in each website, name, and password for them. Unfortunately, many of my students, as special education stduents, have a hard time navigating the chromebooks. iPads would be far more accessible.
