My Project

I love how excited my students are when we talk about authors and illustrators. They love to know where authors and illustrators live and to see through windows into homes and communities different from their own through the books we read.

This map and materials will be placed in time for Read Across America week to continue our work in celebrating diversity in books.

Students will interact with the map and stickers to show where the author, illustrator, or characters live in the world each time they finish a book.
