I had students who requested a standing desk so excited to hear they were on the way. These desks are used daily and are such an important part of our physical space. Students love having the option to stand while working and listening.\r\n\r\nWhen the desks arrived, I requested for our maintenance staff to assemble them. Once he did, he left them outside my classroom door. As soon as one of my students walked out to use the restroom and returned with the news of desks outside the door, everyone was so excited. It wasn't just students who would be assigned to the standing desks, but everyone in class was excited that there would be more options during flexible work time.
