My Students

I strive to make my 3rd-grade classroom feel like a big community. I work hard to teach my students how to come together as a team and work through problems. Also to teach them lifelong skills to enhance their lives.

Being home with their families now, students need to learn the basics of financial literacy to help them with the challenges they face.

Students are is desperate need to understand the impacts of finances right now.

Being in a Title I school, I get a lot of students who came to school without basic necessities and that need a stable, safe environment where they can feel heard and loved. My students don't have that financial background to help them to succeed in life. Even with all the challenges they face, my students still see me daily on zoom full of energy and ready to learn.

My Project

These materials I have chosen will help my students that are home with their families now learn first hand about a financial crisis. I want to be able to send these books to my students to help them understand what their families are going through. My students still need to be reading so this is a perfect match for them.

These books will bring a smile to their face, while at the same time they will be learning about finances.

These books will be a benefit for learning first hand about this economic crisis. When they receive the books, they will be so happy!
