This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My name is Ms. Rodriguez my role at V. T Middle School is to teach students social skills and help them navigate their middle school experience. I do this by holding social skills groups with students struggling with behaviors or truancy. The items I requested will help with activities I have planned as well as rewarding them for their success in my classroom as well to make a better calm down area for my students. The fidget toys and activities will help students in times of distress. The games I added will be used as rewards and some will be played together during our social skills group. I also requested materials for my white board and to help laminate their work and motivational posters. My students are special because they are always determined and willing to grow and learn. I always emphasize the importance of self-growth. I hope to help them on their own personal self-growth journey!
