My Students
I created an after-school ukulele club. I received some previous funding and was able to purchase 18 ukuleles, a small PA System, and some rhythm materials. Last week I sent out flyers to the 4th and 5th graders at my school not knowing what kind of response I'd receive. I was hoping to get at least 10 to 12 students interested and try to grow the program from there. On the first day after letters were sent, I have 41 students wanting to join my program and more will be returning their forms this coming week.
I don't want to have to turn any of these students away so I'd like to grow the program.
I want to purchase an additional 20-25 more ukuleles, cases, and tuners. I will also need replacement strings, replacement batteries for their tuners. We are a Title 1 school. Thank you so much for your consideration!

I want to reach more kids with the gift of music. I am starting an after-school ukulele club. I currently have 18 ukuleles but I have over 40 students interested. So, I want to grow my program quickly so I don't have to turn away as many students as I have to now.
I want to use funds to get more 10 ukuleles.
I would like to do this in installments. For this time I would like to get 10 ukuleles with cases and tuners and also replacement strings. By reaching more students with the gift of music, I will hopefully make a deeper impact on them and perhaps offer more opportunities for their future.
