This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are genuinely awesome students. CLassified as students with special disabilities, I would be the first to differ. I would say these students are children with “Special Ablilities.” The ability to thrive, to give you hope, to inspire and invigorate you everyday. Everyday my students show a zeal for life the essence of it, is very authentic. My students deserve to have access to all available resources that will help them to flourish in a world that that they are sometimes forgotten. The Special Abilitity Teachers, and Paraeducadors will continue to fight for those who may seem disadvantaged, and give them empowerment and a chance through education.
My Project
This Project would benefit 10 Special Ability students. With the proper and adequate resources are students will be able to thrive in any environment. The materials funded would ensure success in academic, social, and psychological learning. The resources would contribute to their educational identities and affirm their success in the world. Students would really benefit from tactile, auditory , and visual aids. Student would also benefit from assistive technologies devices that will assist in communication needs ie. tablets, go talks devices. The tablets would play an instrumental role in developing technology skills. The tactile, auditory, sensory equipment will ensure that students have the necessary materials to thrive.
