I serve second grade students that receive special education instruction. I have students that are struggling readers, struggling with basic math concepts, and students that need instruction in social skills. I also have students that just need a little extra support to be successful in the classroom.
My students love to learn!
They always come to my classroom excited and ready to learn. I love being able to break down material to make it easier for them to understand. Special education teachers are so lucky because we get more opportunities to spend individual time with our students and try to work on specific goals depending on their needs.
My Project
This project is comprised of many resources that will bring more fun and excitement to our classroom. Included in this project are: reading and math games, dry erase boards and markers, reading fluency activities, second grade math activities, and simple organization that my students can use for their work!
My students love learning and having these additional resources will give them extra practice on tough second grade skills.
These games and activities will allow my students to be exposed to the curriculum in a multi-sensory ways. Students can take what they are learning and apply that learning to new content areas.
