The students love coming to the couch to watch our morning news and morning meeting. They are comfortable and engaged! They also love to separate the pieces of the couch and use it for rest time. The couch is fun and flexible for fun time also! This space has really added some comfort and fun seating to our classroom environment. When they first saw this awesome couch they were so shocked and excited! The couch easily comes apart for easy cleaning. I know my students will enjoy this awesome couch for years to come! It's as if we're the only 2 sharing the story together. They hear the story come to life. This means that they are not distracted by all of the disruptions that are happening around our learning space and our time together is spent learning and enjoying stories together.\r\nAlso students will get to earn their ticket to a silent disco party for reaching their reading goals. They absolutely loved getting to choose a smelly sticker when they finished their assessments. The markers and stickers decorated our third graders state testing letters that they have been carrying around for the past three days.
