800 students attend Apollo. Over 100 of our students are identified as Special Education and another 40+ are working hard to become proficient at their English Language Learning. Our students come from all different religious and cultural backgrounds, along with socio-economic backgrounds. Approximately 30% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch and breakfast. That being said, they are wonderful students! We take great pride in Apollo being an A rated school by the state of Louisiana. Students work hard every day to make sure they are learning and becoming better at their academic skills, and we want to add a new skill to their elementary school "resume." Apollo is starting an archery team and program that will service third, fourth, and fifth grade students. Archery has many benefits, such as increased focus, strength, exercise, coordination, confidence, and relaxation. These benefits are essential to kids these days with so much pressure to excel academically.
