My Students

This project is in tandem with my fifth grade team members who teach 125 of the most awesome students around who love to explore and meet any challenge. They are excited to meet the Forty Book Challenge we have issued, but they can't run the software they need on their current computers. We need your help so they can meet their challenge! Please help them have the technological tools they need to increase their reading comprehension and understanding, but more importantly, their love of reading!

My Project

This year, we want our students to read more and have issued the "Forty Book Challenge", encouraging students to read forty books before May. Students can read any books of their choosing. However, we want to make sure they have read and understand the content. In order to do that, we have a reading comprehension software program that will check students' understanding. However, our computers are too old to run the program. We need two new computers with updated hardware so that we can utilize this tool and help encourage our students to become better readers! Fund our computers, please!
