Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am asking for donations for outdoor recess equipment and games. This equipment will not only be used for all 3rd grade students outside, but also for incoming 3rd grade students as I plan to use it for summer school as well.

Getting outside and staying active is crucial to a child’s overall development!

They focus and try much harder when they have had a break and some fresh air to go with it.

I want to provide more opportunities for students in our new area for play. Not only would they love the sports equipment for our large group of physical students, but even more mellow activities for students who prefer drawing with chalk, carnival games, or bubbles.

I have also requested a cart to tote the equipment back and forth for safe keeping! My students ask for more recess equipment everyday and I’d love to see their faces light up with joy if funded!
