Raising the Bar

Help me give my students weight room equipment for our weight lifting and athletic team workouts.

My Project

Our weight room is used extensively--not only for our weight lifting team, but also by our physical education classes and for offseason and in-season workouts for our football, basketball, and track teams. We have a dedicated and innovative strength and conditioning coach who is passionate about teaching proper technique and incorporating lifts into workouts that will help our athletes achieve maximal performance.

Currently, our weight room has two racks with broken barbells, and a few of our bumper plate weights are falling apart from heavy use over many years.

This project will provide replacement barbells and a set of bumper plates to ensure our athletic teams can prepare and perform at their highest levels.

Mr. Stark Opelousas Senior High School Grades 9-12
