My Students

I co-teach an amazing group of second graders! Our students are extremely motivated to learn and have a thirst for knowledge.

We are a diverse school in an incredible town with a very supportive community.

Our students come from all walks of life, and together create a unique group of little learners. Our school is a warm, nurturing place where students love to come each day to work together and learn from each other. The goal is to make learning interactive and fun!

My Project

Technology is ever-changing and it's critical that my students receive instruction and learning opportunities that are on the cutting edge of all that is possible! My students will greatly benefit from computer programming with Botley using the action challenge and activity sets.

Botley will help introduce students to beginning coding concepts as well as promote critical thinking and problem solving skills all while allowing them to have fun, experiment, and play with robots!

Botley features completely screen-free coding. Students will create obstacle courses for Botley to maneuver his way through! This will allow students to learn more critically about cause and effect, trial and error, and how to plan, observe, and execute their own ideas. By working together and coding Botley, students will work on their collaborative thinking skills. Students will learn how to execute a plan and determine whether or not they were successful. Learning takes place not just when we are right, but also when we are wrong! Botley will allow students to re-program him based on their self-evaluations of their first trials. My students will learn to work through their problems and persevere. If this isn't a lifelong lesson, I don't know what is!

Help my students jump into 21st century STEM learning with these amazing robots and learning packs! We can't wait to learn what the future has to hold!
