Your support has truly made a positive impact on our students and has added excitement and energy to our daily routines.\r\n\r\nWe are using this new resource every day during our warm-ups. As soon as students walk into the gym, they get started right away with locomotor movements. When the music is turned off, students quickly find a floor spot and sit like a \"superstar.\" A student is then chosen to come up and spin the exercise wheel. When the wheel stops, the entire class performs the exercise it lands on—whether it's jumping jacks, arm circles, mountain climbers, or the always-popular DANCE PARTY! After we complete the exercises, we move to another locomotor movement. This continues for a few minutes, with multiple students spinning the wheel daily.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the big spinning wheel, their reaction was full of excitement and curiosity. Smiles, questions, and eager anticipation filled the gym as they couldn't wait to see how it worked and what exercise would come next. The wheel has instantly boosted student engagement and motivation, making warm-ups something they truly look forward to.\r\n\r\nOur next step with the exercise spinning wheel is to keep things fresh and fun by periodically updating the exercises. We also plan to add a special space on the wheel where students get to watch their teachers perform an exercise for a change—something our students are already very excited about!\r\n\r\nThank you again for your generosity and for helping create an active, joyful learning environment for our students. Because of you, our gym is a place filled with movement, laughter, and healthy habits every single day.","fullyFundedDate":1762004105805,"projectUrl":"project/lets-add-excitement-to-warm-up-exercise/9854474/","projectTitle":"Let’s Add Excitement to Warm Up Exercises!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. McGovern","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9562972_orig.jpg?crop=347,347,x74,y465&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1743351301445","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9562972"},{"teacherId":7495782,"projectId":9402719,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our classroom! The new rug has already made such a difference. It has become the heart of our classroom where we gather for morning meetings, read-alouds, and small group lessons. One of my favorite moments was watching students partner read on the rug—they were so comfortable and focused, and it created such a positive learning atmosphere.\r\n\r\nWhen the rug first arrived, the students' excitement was priceless. They asked if they should take their shoes off so they wouldn't ruin the new rug. Their smiles and enthusiasm showed just how much this gift means to them.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are using this space to support our current reading lessons. Our next step is to begin student-led book talks, where children will share their favorite books and recommend them to classmates. The rug gives us the perfect community space to make these discussions engaging and collaborative.\r\n\r\nWe are so grateful for your generosity—you've given my students not just a rug, but a special place where they feel connected, supported, and eager to learn.","fullyFundedDate":1755689561965,"projectUrl":"project/grounded-in-learning-a-fresh-start-fro/9402719/","projectTitle":"“Grounded in Learning: a Fresh Start From the Floor Up”","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. McGirr","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7495782"},{"teacherId":667791,"projectId":8729880,"letterContent":"I just want to thank you for your generous donation to my project.
