Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My project gives perfect opportunities for students to engage in social emotional learning when the weather does not allow free time at recess.
Indoor recess makes the classroom transformed into a haven of creativity and fun for all students.
I would like to provide my students with meaningful activities during indoor recess. My second graders will enjoy having a wide assortment of activities in our classroom. Students can choose from a variety of tasks such as building with LEGO bricks, Lincoln Logs, Kinetic Sand, and magnetic tiles. These items will help offer collaboration among peers and support social emotional learning.
