This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have wonderfully creative students with disabilities in my classroom. They are able to make amazing progress in mathematics but they need visual materials to help them learn.

We need a variety of counters to help my students gain hands on experiences with numbers to 1,000.

I have seen a great deal of progress with my students with numbers to 100, but we do not have enough manipulative for students to be able to work with higher numbers. We need more of the manipulatives we already have to help work with the higher numbers.
