This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students need new chromebooks to replace the broken ones that are no longer useful in our classroom.

My school is located in New York and serves a very poor economic group that lacks the means to improve their lives on a daily basis.

The school serves its neighborhood and surrounding areas from a diverse population. Many of my students are hard working students who want to make change in their life occur but lack the necessities to have afford the things that would make a positive impact in their lives.

My Project

My students are very into technology in the classroom. They use chromebooks on a daily basis to help them complete writing assignments, create slide shows, websites and all the other amenities google has to offer. This allows them to become active learners and participate in daily lessons.

However, over time these materials break and need to be replaced so that students can get the full advantage of using technology.

With your help we can bring every child a fresh opportunity to work on computers that don't have missing keys, do not hold battery charges anymore and create an energetic learning environment.
