This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach PE to students in grades K-5 in a multicultural school that celebrates diversity. My students enjoy running, racing, biking, bowling, dancing, and tennis. They also enjoy reading, math and playing foursquare and basketball at recess. All the students at my school are able to eat breakfast at school for free. Many students are bilingual. A few don't speak English but are making progress every day. Students at my school recently started learning from home. Teaching from home has its challenges but it has been wonderful seeing students again in class meetings online.
My Project
My students in grades K-2 use iPads. The materials I´m requesting would help my students have better live PE lessons as well as remote lessons when they don´t have live PE. I just posted a project for a new iPad to support students learning remotely.
The keyboard and earphones I´m requesting would be used with the iPad to create lessons in SEESAW and Schoology.
I would also be able to create screen recordings and voice recordings that my would be able to access. I usually don´t care about the latest in the technology. But during this time of remote learning, I would like to have access to tech products that other teachers are using to provide my students with the latest in technology to promote learning.
