My Project

My third graders are bright, curious, and eager to learn. While our classroom is full of energy, some students are easily distracted by noise and need additional support to stay calm and focused. A class set of active noise-canceling headphones will provide every student with access to a quieter learning environment during independent work, online lessons, and testing.

These headphones will make a meaningful difference in both academic performance and emotional well-being.

By reducing distracting sounds, students will be better able to concentrate, manage sensory sensitivities, and feel less overwhelmed. My goal is to create a classroom where every child feels calm, supported, and confident enough to do their very best.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
