Quiet Time Bags

Help me give my students quiet time activities to help them recharge for the afternoon.

Mrs. Kim Mento Lincoln Elementary School

Evanston, IL Grades PreK-2

My Project

Quiet time is a short period of the school day that the Kindergarten students listen to calm music and spend time doing independent activities. This portion of the day takes place after lunch and recess. It gives each child a chance to unwind and relax. This dedicated time of the day provides space for your child's creativity! Puzzles are a great way to get creative and practice fine motor skills. Each child will have their own workbook if they choose to color or complete the individual activities.

Quiet time provides a chance for each student to recenter and recharge.

This period of the day provides the chance to disengage and take a mental break, before participating in the core academics throughout the afternoon.

Thank you so much for supporting my Kindergarten students.
