This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This comfortable space (rug and comfy seats) will allow my students to enjoy the wonders of reading in a quiet space they can call their own. The rug will also make for a great morning meeting space for the whole class prior to starting their busy days. The space will give my students a quiet space to read and will help to build their confidence as readers. I have a rather large class of 29 wonderfully energetic students and this new space will allow them to not only read in a quiet location but will also aid in their social-emotional development. If a child needs a place to gather him or herself tis new rug with comfy chair will help immensely.
