My Students

My students are the kindest, most determined, hardest working people I know. Many of them face great adversity in their homes, and in their daily lives, yet they come to school each day willing to learn and to do their best.

I love my students more than I can explain, and once they have been in my class they are forever “my kids.”

Because of my love for my students, I’m tough on them, but they rise to each and every challenge set before them. They are tough, strong-willed, and determined, and I’m so lucky to get to spend every day with them!

My Project

I love having my students give quick, in-class presentations. They, of course, like the presentations less. To make the most of our time, we need self-stick easel pads! We typically have to spend time cutting bulletin board paper, wasting precious instructional time. Then, students have to awkwardly hold their bulletin board paper while trying to present.

These self-stick sheets will solve both of those problems!

We will no longer have to wrestle with rolls of bulletin board paper and scissors, and students will be able to present while easily referencing their visual.

I love doing creative projects, like having students draw their visual interpretations of a poem, write songs/raps to sing/rap to the class, draw a character from a novel including only their character traits, etc.

These self-stick pads would be so helpful for both me and my students in our creative in-class presentations!
