Being a teacher requires a lot of time, energy, and dedication!\r\n\r\nEvery year around this time, I start setting up my classroom for the upcoming year. This year, students come back on my birthday, July 29. With each passing year, the summer gets shorter and shorter! \r\n\r\nThank you for your generosity in support of my students and our classroom—I am thrilled to be able to set up my room for the year with minimal spending on my part. This way, students can choose a book that they are interested in reading!\r\n\r\nI'm hopeful that they will love these books as much as I do! The garden also provided calming sensory opportunities that supported emotional regulation, communication, and teamwork. Watching the plants and butterflies grow gave students a sense of responsibility, pride, and accomplishment.
