My Project

Our school club is eager to explore new styles of play, and we believe that acquiring "Dungeon Crawl Classics" (DCC) can provide a unique gaming experience. DCC, known for its old-school mechanics and homage to classic gaming, offers a refreshing departure from our current systems. It introduces unpredictability in dice rolls, perilous dungeon crawls, and quick character generation.

What's particularly intriguing about DCC is that it demonstrates how different game systems can share common principles but work in entirely distinct ways.

While the fundamentals of storytelling and cooperative gameplay remain constant, the mechanics and nuances vary significantly. By incorporating DCC, our members can gain a profound understanding of how shared concepts can be reinvented to create unique experiences.

Beyond offering a different style of play, DCC provides an entry point to the world of third-party TTRPG creation. Exploring this system allows us to connect with independent creators and publishers, contributing to the TTRPG community. This firsthand experience will ignite our passion to support and possibly contribute to this network of innovative storytellers, designers, and artists.

In summary, our pursuit of "Dungeon Crawl Classics" embodies our club's commitment to creativity, adaptability, and a broader understanding of TTRPGs. It's about broadening our horizons, embracing diversity in gaming, and connecting with the rich community of third-party creators.
