My Project
One of our standards is to teach the value of coins. I have noticed that quarters can be tricky for the students because of all the state and national park quarters. When they see these quarters that don't look like the typical tails side, they get confused and question their values. I would love to give all of my hands-on and visual learners a chance to make the connection by having a collection of state and national park quarters in my classroom. I feel this will help my students now and in years to come have a better understanding money and its' value.
