Quarantined Students NEED your HELP!

My Students

My students have a wide range of learning styles and levels. They are quickly engaged in activities when I am able to offer a variety of ways of doing things. Our school is in rural Kansas away from major cities and isn't in close proximity to access to assessable resources.

Students come from farming, ranching, migrant, and small community backgrounds.

The migrant families are mostly from Central America searching for better job opportunities for their families. Their dialect is not a common Spanish language and often have difficulties understanding any of the local languages. While English is limited in the home, these migrant students will greatly benefit from extra materials that the school cannot provide for them.

Despite the obstacles my students face everyday, they are also over-comers. Education is important to them. They want better things in life, they want the opportunity to go to college, they want good grades. They are willing to put their heart and soul into their work in order to make a better life for themselves

My Project

My project is requesting a gift certificate for teachers pay teachers. This web site will allow me to search for appropriate remade powerpoint and lessons that I can quickly and efficiently add to our online learning platform.

We are on a day by day basis, not knowing from one day to the next if we will be in person learning or remote learning.

This adds extra stress on myself as the teacher because I do not have the resources needed to teach effectively online.

The visual aids that are available throughout this website are wonderful.
