My Students

Hello! I’m a freshman English teacher in North Carolina. I am also the Quiz Bowl coach! We have around 20 students in grades 9th through 12th. Our team has been competing for two years now. In addition to quiz bowl, we participate in other quiz based competitions. Our main subjects that we practice for include English, Math, Science and History.

My Project

Our team of 15+ quiz bowl players are ready to take their love for the game to the next level. We have been a team for two years now, but we do not have the equipment we need for competitions.

By funding this project, you are giving students the chance to practice the same way they will play when we go to tournaments.

These buzzers will be used for years to come.

Additionally, we are requesting funding for study books, and journals for our team members to use for at home studying.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
