Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students that work with me are struggling to read. They are falling behind their classmates. We all know that the sooner students develop reading skills, the more likely they are to be lifelong readers. When students are with me, they work hard to develop reading skills. But they are only with me for small, short sections of the day.

My struggling readers need books they want to read.

Your donation allows me to provide my students with books that they can read and will want to read when they are not receiving instruction. These books will help to make my students independent readers and allow them to practice the reading skills they are learning.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
