My Project

In our Computer Science class, students engage with technology to hone skills in coding, problem-solving, and design thinking. However, when Chromebooks are collected at the end of the school year, we need alternative ways to keep minds sharp and engagement high. That’s why I’m requesting a variety of logic-based games like Rush Hour, Foldology, and Kanoodle to provide meaningful, screen-free activities during the final weeks of the year.

These games offer opportunities for computational thinking and problem-solving that are essential for success in Computer Science — and beyond.

Rush Hour challenges students’ spatial reasoning and sequencing skills.

Foldology tests spatial intelligence and patience through origami logic puzzles.

Kanoodle develops logical thinking and perseverance with both 2D and 3D puzzles.

By using these games, students will continue to practice the core skills we emphasize all year: problem-solving, collaboration, and resilience. These activities will be perfect for brain breaks, early finishers, and team-building exercises — both at the end of the year and throughout the school year.
